Cheap Things Tuesday: Everything Under £33

by 8

This week’s dirty baker’s dozen brings you: goggles, mudguards, strap-ons, 6-bolt CentreLock converters, bikepacking bottle cages, digital gauges, grips (always grips!), big rotors, multi tools, waterproof gloves, tubeless valves, chain tools and more…

There are button links below each item summary with ‘See Deal at…’ written on them. These buttons – and the header links and linked pics – click-through to retailers. Should you end up buying from these retailers then Singletrack may earn a small bit of commission. This does not alter the amount you pay by the way.

Orange Switch 6er. Stif Squatcher. Schwalbe Magic Mary Purple Addix front. Maxxis DHR II 3C MaxxTerra rear. Coil fan. Ebikes are not evil. I have been a writer for nigh on 20 years, a photographer for 25 years and a mountain biker for 30 years. I have written countless magazine and website features and route guides for the UK mountain bike press, most notably for the esteemed and highly regarded Singletrackworld. Pardon my French but GOD DAMMIT BEN IT’S CENTER LOCK!!! Not “centre lock”, or “centre-lock”. It’s a trademark, and a way Shimano chose to designate a certain technology. Yet every single time Singletrack mentions it, it gets “UKized” without hesitation.

… subverting the dominant paradigm. That’s why Singletrack has so many subscribers.

But personally, you had me at “strap-ons.” Clickbait right there.

That Topeak gauge is good, I have a couple of those.

The WTB valves are literally just the same as the ones I get from aliexpress for £1.50 a pair though.

Muc Off are still punting their original tubeless valve out a £5.99 per pair. Here’s a linky. Sure I read that embedded links get a little commission for STW if followed, so I hope this is OK.
