Say ‘good-bye’ to Jeffsy Pro, Comp and Base and ‘hello’ to Jeffsy Core

by 4

YT are on a Good Times roll this week with the second release in as many days! Check out the new Jeffsy Core series.

If the big travel of yesterdays new alloy Capra launches didn’t float your boat, then how about a refreshed version of the popular Jeffsy trail/all-mountain bike?

With the release of the Jeffsy Core, YT has done away with its original naming strategy. What this means is that Jeffsy Pro Race, Pro, Comp and Base have been completely replaced by the new Core models. There will be 3 Jeffsy Core bikes, each built to a certain price point.

The Jeffsy Core 4 and Core 3 builds will come with 29in wheels and carbon fibre framesets whereas the more affordable Jeffsy Core 2 will only come in an alloy, but will be sold with either 29in or 27.5in wheels. Core specification bikes will be available all year, but special edition Uncaged Jeffsy builds will be launched throughout the year.

All 3 builds come in a wide range of sizes from S to XXL, and each bike comes with a flip-chip to drop the BB by 8mm and knock 0.5 degrees from the head and seat tube angles.

Full build specs of each bike are available over on the YT website, but here is a quick rundown of the standout features of each Jeffsy Core bike;

    Looks good. But why my has everyone gone for boring colours this year, I’m not a flouro fan but no yellows, bright blues, reds or oranges?

    Are YT selling to the UK? I had a look on their site for one of the Jeffsey Core 2’s and UK didn’t seem to be available in the “ship to” section

    I take back my last comment, I just needed to go to the UK site. Unfortunately the prices above don’t take into account the 20% VAT on top and the £100 shipping. The Core 2 goes up to over 3 grand.

    The website says…
    incl. VAT plus Custom Duties, Shipping and Import Cost
