Nukeproof Sam Hill Oil Slick Edition Components

Decorate your bike and ride like Sam Hill* with these Nukeproof Sam Hill Oil Slick Edition components. (*performance enhancements not guaranteed).

Nukeproof has released a Sam Hill edition range of components in oil slick finish, so you can dress your bike up in top notch finishing kit and pretend you’re on the race team. If you can’t decide which colour to accessorise your bike with, this oil slick rainbow finish could be the perfect option (or, if you have one of those fancy pants SRAM Eagle chains you want to coordinate with).

Originally a team only finish – like Hopetech green – this oil slick colour is now available to the general public.

Nukeproof Horizon Sam Hill Edition Prices

  • Sam Hill Signature Pedals: £125
  • Sam Hill Signature Grips: £30
  • Sam Hill Enduro Saddle: £80
  • Tubeless Valves: £25
  • Sam Hill Ti Stem: £100

It’s just titanium bolts on the stem, not a whole Ti stem as the name might suggest! The saddle comes in a range of standard Horizon colours too, and is a new addition to the Sam Hill and Horizon product ranges. It’s 143mm wide and features a cut out for pressure relief – remember this is the saddle that can be used for 7 hours or so in an enduro race. Ti rails are set with a low stack height so that you can use the maximum length of dropper possible. Claimed weight is 261g.

Nukeproof says:

Sam’s Signature series is as it sounds, products developed with Sam or at his request to allow him to dominate the world of racing. From upgraded finishing components on the Horizon stem, the Sam Hill Series featuring Ti bolts, through to the new enduro saddle, grips and pedals all designed with Sam to ensure they are what he needs to go racing. These products are the exact same product used by our elite athletes.

I came to Singletrack having decided there must be more to life than meetings. I like all bikes, but especially unusual ones. More than bikes, I like what bikes do. I think that they link people and places; that cycling creates a connection between us and our environment; bikes create communities; deliver freedom; bring joy; and improve fitness. They're environmentally friendly and create friendly environments. I try to write about all these things in the hope that others might discover the joy of bikes too.
