We’ve seen a couple of custom made carbon bikes for kids, but the Patrol C020 and Patrol C024 could be the world’s first production carbon mountain bikes for kids!
Patrol Mountain is back in our newsfeed this week. After the launch of their Shimano EP8 powered E-Six last week, the Indonesian bike maker is making waves once again with a couple of sweet carbon bikes designed for kids.
The neat-looking Patrol C020 and C024 both have full carbon frames designed by Patrol and manufactured to their specifications. Each frame comes with all the bells and whistle we’ve come to expect from a high-end carbon frame, except this is the first time we’ve seen a carbon MTB frame aimed at kids.
Both hardtails come with full internal cable routing for a neat and tidy appearance, but we suppose hiding those cables and hoses away is a good idea for a bike that will probably be thrown around quite a bit. Each mini Patrol is fitted with disc brakes, has bolts to fit a bottle and they even come with a threaded BB!
Two sizes of the carbon kids bike have been announced with either 20in or 24in wheels, and there are 2 builds of each to suit different price brackets, using parts designed specifically for young riders needs in mind.

I’m sure the children of Surrey can’t wait!
What..? No Dropper.??
@Andrew Mee I think the 24in version has routing for a dropper too !!
You’ve got to be absolutely stupid to buy one of these for a kid. Or you live in Surrey
I like that.
Not sure what that the UK RRP is on them, but they work out to be a similar price to a Commencal of the same spec, only these have fancy carbon frames instead of alloy.
“told more bike are set to be launched very”

Pretty sure these have been around for a little while – https://meekboyz.com/
Saw some at my local centre recently, super nice but by christ are they expensive! Those thinking these Patrol’s are dear will have a heart attack!
