Commencal is celebrating its 20th birthday with the release of the limited edition Commencal Meta AM 29 XX with AXS components and holographic decals.
Commencal is celebrating 20 years this year and has launched a limited edition Meta AM 29 XX. Each Meta AM XX will be numbered and only 100 of the special bikes will be produced, with one-off holographic decals but only 99 will actually go on sale.
Being a limited edition super-bling bike, Commencal has built these bikes up with some dream kit including wireless SRAM AXS drivetrain, wireless Reverb dropper post and a mix of E13 components with matching graphics.
Earlier this year Andi was actually at Commencal and snapped a few photos of a preproduction model of the XX. The drivetrain isn’t AXS as it was just a sample bike, but these photos will give you an idea of what the bike looks like in the sun.
Andi is a gadget guru and mountain biker who has lived and ridden bikes in China and Spain before settling down in the Peak District to become Singletrack's social media expert. He is definitely more big travel fun than XC sufferer but his bike collection does include some rare hardtails - He's a collector and curator as well as a rider. Theory and practice in perfect balance with his inner chi, or something. As well as living life based on what he last read in a fortune cookie Andi likes nothing better than riding big travel bikes.
