iceBike* an annual trade exhibition hosted by distributors Madison and Sportline is for the first time being opened up to the general public.
iceBike* is Madison’s in-house showcase for its many brands and is usually only open to the bike trade and media types like us lot. However, this year Madison will be opening the doors for free to the public so you can see the kind of shiny previews that we get to see. Not only that, but there’ll be many special offers available throughout the weekend and its just been confirmed, some of the biggest names in cycling will be turning out.
There are planned meet and greet signings with Manon Carpenter, Matt Simmonds, Blake Samson, Marc Beaumont and Shanaze Reade, plus a mystery Team Sky rider that will be revealed closer to the show. On the Saturday the Madison Genesis road team and Pearl Izumi Tour Series will launch, both of which will be hosted by ITV’s Ned Boulting.
The organisers revealed a few weeks back the exclusive deals that visitors can only take advantage of, by coming to the show at the Arena:MK in Milton Keynes. The show takes place at the end of February (Sat – Sun 27 and 28 February 2016).
