Eurobike 2015: Liteville

by 3

As part of the same German R&D, manufacture and distribution house as MTB component brand Syntace, Liteville focuses on the frame design and production to hang all the shiny bits on.

Liteville’s existing trail/all mountain offering the ‘301’ (believe it or not now in it’s 12th incarnation), was on show in the two factory offered builds, the ‘Enduro’ and ‘All Mountain’ works machine kits. We have just received the ‘All Mountain’ build for long term test, here. The 1×11 ‘Enduro’ build pictured here:

A particular Liteville USP is their ‘Scaled Sizing’ methodology which suggests speccing wheel sizes dependant on the rider’s height and intended bike use. Loads more detail about Scaled Sizing here. As with Syntace, Liteville offer a ten year warranty. Frame only kits are available with all models.

This jig showed off how the 301 frame suspension adapts to duel wheel sizes at the ‘DuoLink’ slots on the chainstays, without effecting bottom bracket height

With the longer travel ‘601 MK3’ making up the freeride end of the spectrum (not pictured), Litleville were showing a brand new hardtail the ‘H-3 MK1’ in various different build kits and a new shorter travel, marathon focussed full susser, the ‘101 MK1’.

The new, shorter travel marathon bike. Not just a dressed up 301 in race clothing but a new design, in its own right:
