We gave you a sneak peak of what we saw at the Trek Launch in our Top Fuel story earlier in the week, so, as promised, here are some galleries of stuff that we liked – fill yer’ boots!
Trek Farley 9
Trek believe that the Farley 9 is “the quickest and most versatile fat bike ever.” It can run with tyres up to 5in, with 26in or 27.5in wheels. What separates this from the Farley 5 is the addition of a SRAM x1 drivetrain, Avid DB 5 brakes, RockShox Bluto RL fork and a Race Face Turbine Cinch crank. It’ll set you back £2,400.

Fuel EX 9.8 29
The Fuel EX has been a popular choice with Trekkies (arf) in the past, but what have the Wisconsin Wonders upgraded from the EX 9 version? Firstly they’ve gone to purest Carbonium with the frame, as opposed to the much more metallic aluminium material used year. A Shimano Deore XT drivetrain and DT Swiss M1900 wheels are also new additions. It’s also (well, duh) got 29in wheels for rollover and speed and all those other fast things. Braaap! Price: £3.750

Slash 9.8
One word describes the Slash. Enduro. But for the 9.8, you need two words: Carbon Enduro. That is all.
Price: £5,000.
