On the 7th Day of Christmas here’s a year’s worth of columns from 2014 to read on your electronic device…
All our subscribers have the option of downloading each issue of Singletrack as an eBook from our Mag Archive. If you have a smart phone the chances are that you can read eBooks already. On iOS devices the best app is Apple’s own and free iBooks app. On Android devices, Amazon’s Kindle App is free.
If you download the file directly onto your eReader device then your device should offer up instructions on how to open the book – with most eReaders it will be pretty instant and straightforward.

Just tried to download direct to Kindle and I got a message to say it was the wrong type of file – only certain .xxx can be downloaded. First time I have tried to do this so it could be my settings. Or incompetence, it could be that.
ah that may be the Kindle’s not very friendly approach to the standard eReader ePub file format. I’ll have a go at creating a .mobi version now. Standby…
Worked perfectly on iPhone – loaded to iBooks
Kindle users!
While I wait (at home) for the Kindle version to be uploaded to our server (I don’t have the FTP details here) you can email me directly at mark@singletrackworld.com and I’ll send you the Kindle version by reply attached to an email. I’ll reply asap.
Alternatively you can do what I just did and uploaded the epub file here http://www.epub2mobi.com/ and converted it to a .mobi Kindle version.
Complete div question, but can I download these onto my laptop somehow?
Yes you can. I think Firefox browser has a plugin for reading ePub files but here’s a starting point for you http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/five-apps/five-easy-to-use-desktop-ebook-readers/
Mark – thanks for prompt response. I will wait until sorted or use the link. Hardly life or death.
Kindle version is now available for download – See above
