Customisable tools for trail and workbench…
The (very successful) product of one of those Kickstarter things, Fix It Sticks are a versatile little pair of tool sticks that interlock to provide leverage and can be configured to fit most hardware and to reach into funny spots. Using standard 1/4in bits, the sticks themselves are magnetized, holding everything together while allowing for easy change if needed.
Fix It Sticks’ Replaceable Edition kit comes with eight common bits- but others are readily available online or in hardware stores. No UK distribution at present, but either shops (such as Gone Biking Mad in Poole) or customers can purchase the Sticks directly. In the US, pricing is set at $36 (£22).
Targeted at mechanics, the T-Way wrench (get it?) is a fixed-handle model with a spinner grip: the company’s gift to bottle cage installers everywhere. The T-way comes with seven bits for $30 (£18).

A little heavy, but I love mine. Backed ’em on Kickstarter.
commented on these earlier in the year and still cant quite get away from the fact you’re paying a hideous amount of money for a bit of hardware you can find in any builders merchant for a fraction of the cost.

Buy these small pieces of metal at lostonthetrailside dot com.
Think I prefer my Crank Brothers multi-tool
Another one to look at on Kickstarter is the Tool Pen. I backed one, should be arriving soon.
