Sea Otter: Felt’s 2015 Compulsion everybike

With a refreshingly sane spec and aluminium frame, Felt’s top enduro/all mountain bike goes to 27.5in wheels and adds lovely iridescent blue paint for 2015.  The model features 160mm of suspension delivered through Felt’s drivetrain-isolating Equilink virtual pivot/four bar hybrid suspension design and a speed-friendly 66° head tube angle.

Building the Compulsion 10 with a desirable SRAM X0 drivetrain, RockShox Pike RC fork, KS dropper, and light-but-stout WTB KOM rims, Felt has spent money where it will be noticed.  The model’s alloy frame, Novatec hubs, and SRAM Guide brakes keep the price down somewhat- to just over $5,000 (£TBC).

Bottle opener... possible.
Fewer gears, more beers?

While it may not make production, the Sea Otter Compulsion 10 was sporting a very clean looking prototype bottle-opening derailleur mount blanking plate.  Seems as good a thing to put there as anything else.
