Hooray! Hit the North is back.

by 3

More medicine for the dark lunchtime of the soul that is the humpday: this time in the form of the filthy slogfest that is Hit the North. We love this race and will be there, hopefully with the same enthusiasm we have for sliding around in the mud that we always manage to muster whilst sitting at a desk midweek. Get the date in your diaries, your entries in and your tubs glued up now.

The Hit the North Team write…

Hit the North returns on February 4th 2012.

Remember this? So do we, though we'd rather not...

A 2 hour race on a varied course (a bit different to last year’s course but mostly the same).
Fine catering, top-drawer entertainment, free parking, nice prizes and a few surprises.

New for 2012 is the Hit the North Team Challenge – The highest 3 finishers from the same team,
club or bunch of mates will win the ‘Team Challenge Trophy’*
Just remember to enter your team/club/bunch of mates name when you enter.

Open to mountain bikes, cyclocross bikes or any other bike you want to ride.
Entry is open NOW! – online entry only.

The entry fee will be a very reasonable £17 (yep, it’s gone up) and proceeds from the race will as usual be donated to local charities.

*might not be a trophy

Venue:

Philips Park,
Park Lane,
Whitefield,
Manchester
