Many of you may already know that the third edition of the Trans-Provence is set to take place this September. Today, however, we can report that due to a couple of injuries, 2 spots in the limited sized field (55) have recently become available.
As our very own Matt reported in Issue 62, Trans-Provence is a week-long, gravity enduro style, stage race from Gap to Monte-Carlo. The format of 26 singletrack descent stages over a 7-day backcountry journey is designed to blend the best of gravity racing excitement, with wilderness biking adventure.
The 2011 field of Trans-Provence competitors includes several world-class riders such as two-time World DH Champion, Fabien Barel; French Enduro Cup Champion, Jérôme Clementz; 2010 DH World Champion and 2011 DH World Cup Champion, Tracy Moseley; as well as Marc Beaumont, Mark Weir, Rowan Sorrell and several others. There’s also the opportunity to ruin your liver every night with Steve Jones from Dirt Mag.
Get in touch with Ash (ash@trans-provence) ASAP if you would like to snap up one of the two last remaining spots!
