Cycle Show 2011

by 3

With just under a month to go until the 2011 Cycle Show kicks off in its new home of Birmingham NEC,we thought we’d give you a quick run down on what you’re going to be seeing at the UK’s leading bike show.

Open to the public from 30th September to 2nd October, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to try out all the latest bikes and kit, with new 2012 products launching from plenty of your favourite brands; technical demonstrations from Cytech and celebrity interviews with Britain’s top riders in all discplines; a retail area where you’ll be able to stretch your credit card and the Castelli cafe to keep you well fed and watered.

Singletrack will be there with our usual cosy stand and we’re looking forward to seeing you there. As show attendees, we’re also ‘quite’ excited about the new off-road test track, sponsored by Dare 2 Be. It’s 1km long and sounds like it’s going to be a perfect ride in microcosm, with berms, drops, rocks and ‘pump features’ (yes!) all on sweet, purpose-built singletrack. Here’s a picture or two to whet your appetite – it’s pretty certain we’ll be sneaking away from the Singletrack stand to have a play as often as we can…

Real trees! In Birmingham! We're excited.
