Yet more fun ways to hurt yourself on the Saturday evening of the Shimano Singletrack Classic Weekender!
Following on from our announcement of the Polaris OrientBeering Challenge, we have details of another optional mini-event to keep people entertained during the latter stages of Saturday.
The Hope Floodlit Pump-Off!
Hope Technology will be providing some of their Vision LED lighting systems for use on and around the pump track once the sun’s gone down for a “fastest lap wins” style “pump off”.
You’ll get one warm-up lap and then the stopwatch will start at the start of your second lap. No pedaling allowed. There’ll be plenty of time to practice but once the competition is on, you’ll only get one chance at a timed run.
Prizes will be lots of Hope and Singletrack goodies.
