Sea Otter: Race Face

by 8

There’s a certain amount of BNG* with the new Race Face range, but among the flashy graphics, there’s some stuff to see if you dig deep enough.

Actually, having dug. There’s not really a great deal to see apart from some nice new graphics.

Pink is definitely in, as seen by this Knolly monster outside the Race Face booth…

Deus crank and 'half bash' that attaches to via regular long chainring bolts and saves your chainring teeth without adding huge amounts of weight.

Race Face Deus bars in new colours.
Deus cranks in limited finishes. Hmm, perhaps it IS all about new graphics.
Now this is newish. Race Face Respond - an affordable, forged alloy set of components.

Atlas in a limited blue finish. There's a theme here...
Race Face grips in thin (the Sniper) and thick (the Strafe) thicknesses
A nice Canadian theme to the DH stems
Finally, something that's actually changed - the Atlas FR bar now has 8° sweep instead of the previous 9° due to rider feedback. The wraparound graphics too are so that the logo shows up better in photos.
And this is, yes, pink...
Atlas SL bolt-on stem in limited pink.
There's a whole set of limited pink components.
