Spanish guiding outfit Ride Sierra Nevada have teamed up with German suspension innovators BIONICON to offer quality full suspension rental bikes in the shape of the BIONICON Edison. Shaun Allan from RSN says “investing in a new hire fleet of this standard means people can now leave their precious steeds at home while still enjoying high end performance on the trail.”

BIONICON‘s Roger Seal “our bikes are designed for maximum versatility and fun. The steep, technical trails here are perfect territory for the all mountain Edison. Getting bikes on aeroplanes can be expensive, stressful and risky. Usually you can only find entry level hardtails for rent in Southern Europe, BIONICON‘s partnership with Ride Sierra Nevada changes all that. You can get a cheap flight and have top quality full suspension bikes to go with the top quality trails.”

Ride Sierra Nevada, based a stone‘s throw from the UNESCO world heritage city of Granada, was established in 2001. Shaun and his team of guides offer bikers of all levels fantastic trails from epic XC to freeride with descents from 3500 metres down to sea level.

BIONICON has been voted most innovative bike company worldwide three years running by the readers of BIKE magazine, Europe‘s largest MTB magazine.

I have been a writer for nigh on 20 years, a photographer for 25 years and a mountain biker for 30 years. I have written countless magazine and website features and route guides for the UK mountain bike press, most notably for the esteemed and highly regarded Singletrackworld. Although I am a Lancastrian, I freely admit that West Yorkshire is my favourite place to ride. Rarely a week goes by without me riding and exploring the South Pennines.
