The Stif Team write…
“After outgrowing our existing premises at least ten times over, we are moving to a purpose built site in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. We are setting up a fully kitted out demo center and retail bunker with an array of bikes and the trails on our door step. You will be able to find us here: http://bit.ly/5YQSe
“This is an obvious move as customers demand more demos and opportunities to try before they buy and given we also house a great range of bicycle finery, we know that this is a winner! The move is well underway and we are almost there with decking this out. The Headingley store will close at the end of day on Friday 27th November and the new site will be open for business on Tuesday 1st December.
“Our telephone number will however remain the same for a while. This is still 0113 2251111.”

Saving on rent more like. Moving under one roof makes sense in the present climate financially. A bit out of the way for just calling in but ideal for on-line side of business.
That should reduce my unplanned expenditure on kit quite a lot… I can’t pop in at lunch anymore. What a shame… oh wait!
That guy asking where in the midlands/north to open a bike shop has got his answer then.
Headingley!
Is that where Jungle are now?
I hardly think Stif are suffering, not if recent trips to the shop have been anything to go by.
shame its closing, only round the corner from me
I’m sure they have done their homework, but they must be standing to loose a lot of passing trade.
I can see Evans at Castleford doing well from this!
