The Championship is part of Rd3 the Caersws Cup Series sponsored by Astrix Europe and Mojo Suspension on a brand new track that has been built since the trees were cut down from the top of Caersws.
The course starts on the original Midland track then picks up a totally new hang on fast open swooping hillside. The track has been designed to be wide to allow loads of line choices.
Those that make the best line choices will be in with a good chance of winning the £100 cash for Fastest Time of the day.
Work has also been going on to improve Uplift with new trailers to give you a quick turn round and get you more runs down this new track.
Free camping from Friday afternoon but get there early to pick the best spot, there is hard standing on the fire road for Motor homes and large vans or space in the finishing field for Teams to set up next to the finish line.
The weather forecast looks good, loads of ranking points on offer, a championship to win if you live in England and brand new track to race on.
To guarantee your place in the race you need to enter online before midnight on Thursday at www.caerswscup.co.uk

Having never heard of the Astrix Havoc frame, I googled it and found out the following:
“In short, there is no better bike for the serious gravity addict. The bike flows like water over obstacles, yet responds to pedal force like rocket jets ignited.”
Wow!
It is also the Scottish Downhill Championships at Glencoe this weekend…
Why are the English champs in Wales? Sucks.
Where would you suggest?
