Jeremy was taken so I couldn't use that although I have never seen a Jeremy on here and with my lack of imagination TandemJeremy seemed appropriate as I have a tandem and was riding it a lot when first joining

It started out as nukeproof as, when I was a teenager growing up riding mtbs, I liked the name and always wanted their bling hubs ....then Hotlines resurrected the brand so I shortened it to
just nuke. All very exciting

Was a bit frustrated at the time due to an inability to pick a decent line and subsequent tendency to plough through rocks I should really have been riding round.

Mine was from skiing - I like hooning down steep stuff, and turning just slows you down.
However I now realise that in an MTB sense, straightlining trails causes erosion... sticking with the name though.

When I lived in Spain (well Canaries) the Spanish cannot pronounce Nigel - they all called me Nacho so it's just stuck....

Our kid used to call me 'bin lid' at school as it rhymed with 'our kid'. Then for some unknown reason everyone took to calling me that. That morphed into calling me Bin Laden. When he was a little known islamic troublemaker. After a certain little incident in September, a few years back, that stopped quite abruptly. By then it'd been appropriated to Binners anyway.
