    But without the normal question.

How often is ‘normal’ between bleeds? I’ve had mine since february and they feel like they could use a bleed, but I have had to swap the hoses over as I bought them from Germany.

Just, please, this cannot be the start of what I had with my avids again of having to bleed them at least once a month.

bleed them from bottom up, put new hoses on mine , syringed the fluid through, no need to pump, perfick

If they’re bled properly, it’s not normal to need bleeding again unless you have a leak somewhere. Check both of your caliper pistons are moving freely, and are centred properly on the rotor, as this can cause poor lever feel.

Shimanos dont feel as nice when the pads are worn either.

Cheers chaps. Think I’ll try changing the pads first, and just see if it’s is just because they’re starting to wear a bit. Will still need to trim to hoses at some point though, but I can put that off for another 8 months 😛
