Never thought anything could be THAT warm. -10 outside the tent, 22 inside my sleepingbag. Amazing! I'm glad some of the reading on here convinced me to buy one, thanks STW 🙂

i have been putting my down vest into a dry bag at the bottom of my camelback for this reason – not much comes close to the warmth when you stop for a puncture !

With the Blacks shutdown locally we got a pair of their TechnicALS 1100 water-resistant bags, supposedly good to -16 comfortably (which I'd agree with after experiencing it) and down to -36 extreme (not sure I'd want to try it). They're obviously fairly large but only really take up the same room as my synthetic 3 season bags which I'm happy with. Best buy in a long time, at £75 each (reduced from 200 (her) and 220 (mine) IIRC)

Was one of those instantaneous decisions where you look, double-take on the price and then snaffle the last two in teh shop thinking you can re-sell them later if you change your mind!
