I have ripped/cut another Nobby Nic on the rear and so need a “cheap” alternative. Specialized look reasonable but which is the go to tyre of the moment? 26″ 2.3ish to compliment a Bontrager XR4 on the front.
Are the Geax on the on-one site ok?

I like Spesh tyres, but I’d NEVER mix and match brands.

    *sheesh*

PS – avoid the S-Works. Sidewalls are super thin. Butchers are cracking aggressive front tyres too.

I got on well with these when I was on 26. On offer too.

I have a ground control 2.3 with an XR4 on the front at the moment. A decent combo, but I’m going to be trying a Vittoria Barzo 2.25 for the summer. Good alternatives would be Bonty XR2/3, I reckon.

Thanks. I’ve gone for XR3’s with “Inner strength”. I hope I get more than 3 rides with these.
Those chunky monkeys look like they would be brilliant value for holiday trips to rockier places though.

Wise. I just hope the logos are lined up with your valves.
