anyone know about import duty from US on a bike frame.
the frame is around £210 and the postage £40
so 15% on the £210 plus some duty ??? is it less as its a part not a whole bike think I have read that.
Any other fees?

price paid plus postage cost times 4.7% duty. Add this all up and times by 1.15 for VAT then slap on the customs fee of about £25

So around £325 give or take a bit, I can buy the bike in the UK for £750
so might wait until one turns up second hand
