    Got bloody yahoo search popping up on my PC. Tried allsorts to get rid of it but can’t manage it. Any ideas?

    If you’re using Chrome or Firefox it’s probably a toolbar that’s been installed along with something else. (Mozbar is a likely canditate)

    Or a homepage/search engine default re-setting that you’ve inadvertently agreed to when downloading some freeware. This covers most of those options, depending on what browser you’re using.

    What OS? What browser?

    Should be an installed program that you can uninstall like any other. This varies with OS.

    You might also need to remove it from the browser, it’ll be under plug-ins or some such depending what browser you use.

    Might also need to change your default search engine. Again, this varies with browser.
