  • XTR Brakes – Levers available separately?

I had a bit of a crash on saturday and did this to my brake lever. I think I actually did this with my head, although I don't remember much about it…

Does anyone know if you can buy just the aluminium lever for XTR brakes, or do I need to buy a complete lever assembly?

If you want just a lever blade then your LBS can order 8U0 9806 from Madison. If you want a complete lever then they are available too.

Or if Postierich is doing a mega deal on that one buy it and flip the blade over to use it in your lever body.

Many thanks Mister P, a replacement has now been ordered.

jcromton – I misjudged a drop off, went half over the bars and landed on the brake lever with my head as the bike twisted sideways underneath me. It was quite painful!
