Anyone stripped one of these down before? The P Spring in mine is damaged so there isn’t enough tension on the chain. I have got the spare part but there are 4 holes in the cage that the locating lug could go in. The video here: http://www.mbr.co.uk/mountain-bike-videos/how-to-repair-your-shimano-xtr-rear-mech/ for the XTR version implies that it goes in the hole nearest the end stop. Is that likely to be the same for the XT and XTR versions?
