my drivetrain is pretty shot, looking for 24 / 38 xt m785 chainrings but they seem pretty hard to come by

    any good alternatives?

    thanks

Buy a full chainset from Ribble and then sell the cranks and bottom bracket. That will be the cheapest way to do it.

I’ve now split 4 or 5 sets of XT cranks over the past couple of months.

I just got a pair from crc with the discount codes in that other thread. Could only get 40/24 though

Any shimano 4 bolt 104/64 BCD, but I’m happy filing the tab back on the rings to make them fit (the only real difference between shimano models). Other makes will fit but none IME I’ve tried really last any longer or work any better than shimano deore, though they may weigh less..

Charlie – I have a set of XT 26/38 that are in good nick or you could mount the SLX 24 I have in place of the 26?

Drop me an email if your interested.
