Out riding the other night in sub zero temps and my 765 XT’s became progressively grabbier, by the end of the ride the levers were much much more sensitive and had about half the normal travel until brake lockout + little bit of squeal on the front.

It didn’t cause a big issue to using them and I have heard this model can be cold sensitive. Some say its the seals I was just curious if I need be concerned that this is causing premature wear to the internals and if as it gets colder thoughout winter the issue might worsen to the point of brake lock.

Anyone else experienced the same? Will this cause my bike to explode?

The piston seals will get harder when cold. They’re what controls the return stroke.
It may cause them to rub a bit more, but they’ll always release. I really wouldn’t worry about it.
