    Hello

My wife has one of these phones but the camera seems to be terrible. It’s sort of OK in even daylight, but in rubbish in low-light and if you take a picture that has a bright area (sun in background, light from a window etc) it auto corrects to the bright area making everything else too dark.

On my iPhone I just tap in the area I want it to adjust light level to (and focus to), but this doesn’t seem to be an option on this phone.

Is there something I’m missing or is there and aftermarket app that is better than the standard phone software?

    Cheers!

Don’t know if it uses the same camera app but on the z1 there’s backlit and hdr options (which perversely is under Manual, Scene mode).
