Hi, hope someone can offer up some advice?

Bought some xc brakes off pink bike, took them to lbs to be checked over etc they said they are fine but now I’m having one of those oh bugger why did I spend that moments.

Front brake is fine, with a nice pull on it, however the rear is the complete opposite, I have to pull it to the bar to get any real braking on it!

Any advice or ideas?

Had this from new mate (avid brakes you see!! 😉 ) Took two bleeds but been no issues since.

They are flexy in the lever compared to say hopes but you won’t notice that while riding. Chill it’s a good buy.

Yep, that’s XX brakes. Utter toss. Replace with XTR, will sort all your issues!

I’d rather not replace as just got them for £180. Fortunately my lbs has an ex SRAM engineer,must he isn’t back till Monday and wanted to ride tomorrow.

Just have to use the front brake only then 😀
