My Cyclescheme voucher came up for renewal a few months back and try as I might, I am sorely tempted to get another.

I currently have two mountain bikes so don’t *need* a third but I can’t help looking. I currently have:

    2014 BMC Fourstroke FS03 29er
    2013 Commencal Meta AM 29er

The BMC only really gets used if the Commencal is in pieces (which is rare).

I’m also well aware that both bikes are better than my abilities but still….

So the three bikes that are tempting me are:

    On One Codeine 27.5 – http://www.on-one.co.uk/c/q/bikes/mountain-bikes/codeine-27.5

    Norco Sight 7.4 – http://www.evanscycles.com/products/norco/sight-carbon-74-2015-mountain-bike-ec073041

    Whyte T-130 S – http://whyte.bike/gb/t-130-s/

I’m leaning towards the On One. I quite like the idea of something a bit different though I’ve no idea how the spec stacks up compared to the other two.

The price on the Norco is a little misleading as it’s low for Black Friday only. The branch tell me it will be increasing closer to £2k on Tuesday.

The Whyte the outsider on my list. I have a Whyte Stirling hybrid so I know the quality and am a bit of a fanboi but for the money I’d be spending I’m not sure it’s the best choice.

So, any thoughts or opinions on what I should go for? I’ll have to get rid of one of the other bikes to free up some space and I would prefer it to be the BMC because I just don’t feel the love for it.

My Cyclescheme limit is £2k but I’m happy to throw in a wee bit extra.

Edit – FFS, forgot to add that 80% of my riding is Surrey Hills with the remainder being Wales/Scotland (some trail centre, some natural). I know I don’t need 160mm but, well, size is always an issue. 😉
