Got some 2016 Sweeps with the Lockx QR 15mm axle system.

On the back I’ve got a Syntace axle that secures with an allen key – no flip handle to infuriate, break or get in the way.

Anyone know whether there are any simlar (ie – bolt in rather than flip handled) alternative 15mm front axles that I could replace the Lockx with?

Have a look at bikeman, they handily list thread info on their axles.
They state thread pitch of 1.5mm for the lockx, same as rockshox 15mm axles so in theory it should be pretty easy to find a bolt in version. The maxle stealth is probably the cheapest option.

Measure your thread length, rockshox is 9mm.

The RS Maxle ultimate screws in but is about 7mm too long and bottoms out on its thread in the Sweep forks.

I’ve thought about cutting more thread into it to make one fit, but not looked into how thick the walls are etc.

Great forks, but as found the QR lever thing is downright annoying.

    Thanks.

Looks like I’m (we’re?) stuck with the QR…
