    As per title – got that choice for rear tyre for 29″ wheels on my new bike build. What’s the difference? Anyone ridden both and can enlighten me?

    I haven’t had it long but I’ve got the Breakout 2.5 27.5 on the back of my bouncer. It’s not a mud tyre that’s for sure but it’s big (not much smaller than the NN 2.8 I have on the front) and I have high hopes for it in the spring summer conditions it was bought for.

    Having said that in the few rides I’ve managed to do on it in the current conditions it’s taken some slop before it’s got overwhelmed.
