If you remember my recent thread about poor quality Race Face bottom brackets here is the follow up.Contacted R/F they agreed and being customer friendly they arranged for Silverfish to sell me the 2010 team at a "special price " This started at trade then they added £6 odd for postage plus more for vat so it ended up £1.50 cheaper than CRC !!!!
So i said thanks for the "special price but i'll pass on that !

It does however show CRC to be working on wafer thin margins on some stuff..

CRC get better margins by buying in bulk. A lot of their stuff, most notably Shimano, is being sold below standard trade (by a long way!), and in some cases below the 'best' trade price in the catalogue.

I wouldn't have turned down a £1.50 saving. Look after the pennies…
