The nose and cheek are really minor bruises that hardly show compared to the little dark dot of a black eye.

Weird thing is I don’t remember bruising my face during the ride. I got hit in the face by one bit of mud which I guessed cause the dot bruise but the rest is a mystery

To be fair, if you did hit your head/face you might not remember it.
