Those of you with stoves and standard 100mm dia flues, any of you got one of those telescopic flue cleaning kits?

Looked online and they seem expensive (£900+), or do you just get a small boy in to climb up?

Had my fire in since 2009 and not cleaned the flue, think its time I did.

rods & nylon brush from eBay < £30

I clean my stove and furnace once a year.

Brush and rods not good enough ?

£900 where are you looking they’e less than £30?

No I haven’t done my own.

Oops, first google search came up with some professional kit, £900 was the basic, the full kit was £2500!!! Think it was a powered system though., still !! 😯

Seen a few on eBay. Need to be sure the rods are flexible as I’ve got 2 45 degree bends to negotiate.
