    oh ello folks! (sorry, bit hooked on twitter at the moment!)

    this thing went live yesterday, http://www.wolframalpha.com/

    its quite a clever thing, its not like google, yahoo, lxquick, metacrawler etc but rather you can use it to gather all sorts of info, comparisons etc, here some examples: http://www87.wolframalpha.com/examples/

    its all pretty clever, and it has a HAL themed fail page.

    I put in my date and place of birth and discovered that there was a thunderstorm during my birth!! thats something I didn’t know!!!
