I'm sure this has been covered somewhere before but I'm trying to decide on a winter XC tyre. Most riding is in Swinley Forest and the Surrey area.
I'm a wuss on corners so something that might instil some confidence there would be good. I'm considering Schwalbe, Continental, Ritchey, Panaracer, Maxxis.
I know it's a very personal choice for each rider but any suggestions would be great!

TBH I just use whatever I pick up cheap in sales, or in proper mud I use a pair of Conti Survival Pros. Swinley/Surrey Hills aren't too slippery bar a few roots, so most tyres work ok I reckon.

No probs in swinley / Surrey hills. Anything with dome knobbles!

I use Mud X around the Surrey Hills…in fact for my XC bike I've left a Mud X on the front all year.
