    Rode the black on Saturday – it was icy and snowy up top. My year-round Rubber Queen and Z-max coped perfectly well. It’s getting milder this week, so will probably just be wet with the meltwater.

    GT trail or off piste, if the former just usual trail tyres (probably get away with slicks actually apart from on pie run)

    I was thinking more of the slippery roots big Jim, not ideal for slicks
