I was hoping some people might have some suggestions to a decent place for a MTB holiday in Feb/March time. I was thinking southern Spain, but someone has just suggested Gran Canaria to me..

Would quite like a mix of MTB and relaxation, don’t necessarily need to ride all week. Would hire bikes I think rather than ship ours out. Guided for a couple of days would also be nice.

Normally holiday in the Alps in the summer, lift assisted with full on DH bikes, so wouldn’t mind mixing the riding up a bit this time.

For me and the OH, staying someone fairly quiet.

Andalucia would be great. Plenty of companies down there, take your pick. Such a pity seasonallyunadjusted has gone, that was perfect. (IMO).

Based right on the beach with plenty of Winter sun to enjoy.

I’m just in the process of booking with Freeride Morocco for next year, they have had good feedback on here. They have an end Feb holiday too. It sounds great, linear route staying different places every night. Would be nice and sunny in Feb too. Not been yet though.

Went to Gran Canaria in Feb and did a couple of days with freemotion. Well organised with very good bikes. Weather wasn’t always great up in the mountains and one day we had to do a different route because of it, riding was pretty technical in parts and involved some decent climbs even with significant uplifts.
