Any decent ones stay open all winter? I usually go to Nant Gwynant but think it shuts in Oct.

I’ve stayed in one directly under Tryfan. Can’t remember the name or the month I was there but it was b@@@@@@ freezing and there was ice on all the tents.
We actually stayed in the ‘camping barn’ which was basically a cowshed and was utterly freezing. Folk were camping outside though…

    Edit… HERE it is…

Can reccomend this one, stayed last winter, clean showers and really hot, plus a bike wash! Tanyfron Campsite, was about £6 per night if I remember right. Plus great views. Link http://www.campsitesnowdonia.co.uk/

The one in Nant Peris opposite the Vaynol arms is open all year I think. £4/night and I think i’m right in saying it gets SOME sun in the morning whereas the ones in Ogwen are ‘sheltered’ by some of the biggest mountains in wales!
