    Hi All,
My few-rides-old Spesh Defrosters are going well, and got out into some mud last weekend. I realised when cleaning them that I can fit studs to each foot, and some came with the boot. I know other makes of boot can have studs fitted, but never had this option before.

    So….Do people actually use/need studs?
    Do you fit/remove as necessary?
    …or fit and forget?

    I know, I worry too much…………!
    cheers all

Yes they're great. Especially in mud, snow, slush, and the compacted-snow-ice that's everywhere at the mo.

Can't get the blanking screws of my defrosters. Wish I could.

ok….looks like it's a 'Yes' then. Thanks for that.

mikey-simmo: I didn't want the same thing to happen to me! Bad luck.

So….is it worth putting a smear of grease on the threads in case i need to remove/replace?
