Has anyone tried windows 8 (pc edition, not tablet) with a touch screen? I’m guessing (probably wrongly) that they use a basic mouse driver, but can bring up the onscreen keyboard ok?
Also, I guess there are no gestures supported?

It’s for running a demo at a trade show, so would be funky if we could get it working on a 60″+ screen, without having to resort to using an external keyboard.
    TIA

Sorry, can’t answer your question but if I was at a trade show I would have a wireless keyboard as backup. Trade shows are guaranteed to kill all known technology

Leffe – good point. Could easily add a swanky BT keyboard as a backup.

Not sure what you are asking.

You want to use a PC with only a mouse and no keyboard, using the on-screen?
