    Can i bolt replacement Deore chainrings onto a XT M760 chainset??

    yep you sure can, only one to watch is the granny as long as its a granny for a HT2 type BB it will be fine, the old octalink crank granny rings have a tab on the inside of the bolt hole that need filing/dremeling off to fit…

    I run deore stuff on my XT no problems..

    yes definitely though as per Tinsy, you may need to adjust the inner ring if it's not off a deore hollowtech (with hacksaw/large file) but that's it.

    Ok thanks guys…I think i might get away with the granny but the other 2 are shagged..
