made for cars stick to MDF?
I’m not after an amazing finish, it’s just for a tool peg board in the garage, but I’ve got some primer and paint sitting around.
Or will it just fall off again?

    Will be fine.

Sticks pretty well. It’ll soak in a bit and show every dent and scratch but it’ll be fine for what you want

The primer looks quite good. Shall I bother with the metallic grey?

    Hmmmmmmm

I do hope there’ll be outlines of tools in a contrasting colour.

Although I did spray a stripe on the green lamp post I leant it against ….. 😳

Wasn’t going to do it in the garage with 7 push bikes and 2 motorbikes in it was I? Durrrr.

Anyway. Glad I did that, it looks great in a bad way, like the side of a WW2 Panzer tank I think

You have a great future ahead of you spraying fibreglass bodykits for Vauxhall Corsas.

    LOL!
It does look crap but that’s all the paint gone. In mitigation it looks worse in the pic. Honest. It’s now up on the wall anyway with tools hanging off it. I couldn’t be bothered getting a brush and gloss paint out. 🙂

I didn’t know you could get primer to go on so unevenly!

WOW, i mean just WOW when you did that, did you expect to self flatten or something?, mind you if its going to look bad you may as well go the whole hog!. only kidding, ive seen worse!, well not much but hey its a peg board so it’ll be covered over with tools, just dont use too many at time 😉

Not wishing to sound too critical but you really have made a right pigs ear of the spray painting.

    only kidding, ive seen worse!

    I don’t believe you. 🙂

I for one respect you PP. There has been too much talent and casual construction of superb buildings on this forum. There are too many members with skills far above what I can aspire to, so it’s great to see something truly crap.

    Well done.

See, you can take the piss all you like 😉 I don’t care. It’s for a workshop that has to pay its way. I did a big reorganise today and I’m removing all non bike tools from the work area, as I’m getting sick of moving stuff around to get to stuff and having stuff fall all over the floor all the time. Tools on the wall speeds things up. I’ve not quite finished yet and it’s still a it messy but you get the rough idea. 🙂

I don’t understand why you need somewhere to hang a mallet though. Shouldn’t it be permanently on the workbench within reach as first tool of choice? 😉

    Because it’s locked.

That looks like a front door?

Have you given over the entire ground floor to a workshop? Kitchen moved to the garage?
