7dayshop always have cheapy filters so might be worth looking on there and yes they do help.

They do help a lot with sky and water pictures. Make sure you get a circular one and not a linear. More expensive but they actually work.

I love the "without" v "with" picture at the bottom, without it looks like Wales but screw on the filter and it looks like California, amazing!!

Yeah I have a one for each eye every time I visit Wales.

Cheers all, just bought a Hoya from E-bay, £25, sounds decent quality.

Becareful thought they do knock a couple of stops or so, so you either have to use a higher ISO or be slower speed…. shouldnt be too much of a problem if its bright.
