It’s a bit over 18 months old now (truely ancient)…

I’ve started to have this minor issue recently:

Plug in the battery and it comes on High, I then have to press the button over and over until it eventually decides to switch down to Low, the problem persists throughout the ride with all mode changes, Battery is fine, fully charged Green light on the head unit etc…

    What are the potential causes?

    Knackered switch?
    Moisture/Condensation in the housing?

Please tell me it’s un-fixable so I can buy the current slightly better version with impunity from “Her indoors”…

Or how can I fix it in order to enjoy more value for money night riding with it, and then suggest how I spend the saved £50…

Nah, Battery is fine, issue with the Lamp itself… and if it goes I’m keeping the battery…

It’s the switch in the lamp unit – I have the “Sub 66 Grenade” branded version which did the same thing, and due to the magic of UK dealership service sent it off on a Friday night and had a new light the following Friday morning.
