BBC web and tv forecasts have never been the same in donkeys years. Guess they are just covering all bases??!

yea this has got on my nerves for yonks. Computer the size of a planet and sometimes they should just look out the f-ing window.

Also, why do all the radio stations have their own news & weather teams? I can understand dumbing down radio 1 & 6 music for da yoof, but shirley they could make a big saving by having the same broadcast for R2, 3 & 4.

i am looking out the window and although it is windy it is dry and blue skies. Now if i go to the BBC website the graphics suggest it should be pissing down. but the flash animation suggests cloudy, with rain mid afternoon.

Which i suppose is hedging your bets a little.

BBC Weather is in association with Met Office isn’t it? So it should be good. I usually just use the Met Office site..

It was bonkers windy on the roads around Leighton Buzzard.
The skies were black, but luckily we only got light but jet powered rain.
Turned out to be a not very sociable ride, heads down and get on with it was the order of the day.
