…for an online account even when the number is different? I thought I would have to reset it. Just wondering.

Isn’t the number the same and just the CCV on the sig strip changes?

The number on the credit card isn’t the same as the account number.

If you lose the card they give you a new one, with a different number but the account behind it is the same – the Lizards make sure of it.

If it’s the first use of the new card, the old one won’t have cancelled yet.

Card number changes but account number stays the same. The account details are on your card.

This thread would be better with pics 😉

It’s like when you move house but your name and face stays the same even though stuff is different like you might lose your cat. Weird but cool. Don’t believe the stories about lizards – space bats are running things now.
